Katrina Hands is a Remedial and Sports Massage Therapist who is committed to staying up to date with the latest techniques and research. She has experience of working with a wide variety of clients, including top level sports competitors in a variety of disciplines (ultra, long and middle distance runners, dog agility handlers and golfers), recreational runners, clients with specific chronic conditions, older people with various mobility issues and clients with different injuries.

She worked alongside Forfar Farmington Football Club to provide sports massage therapy and pitch-side first aid (2016-2019). She has also provided therapy support at various charitable events. Katrina also provides treatment to members of Agility Team Scotland.

Katrina has been involved in a variety of sports as a participant and also as a coach: dog agility, horse riding, running, skiing, trampolining and going to the gym.

Katrina’s first degree included courses in Sports Science, Physiology and Psychology.  She also has a PhD, which involved working closely with chiropractors to develop a computerised interview system to enhance the consultation process.

She is always keen to achieve the best possible results for her clients and will research conditions in order to be well informed and offer the most appropriate treatment.
